We came to believe that a power greater than ourselves could restore us to sanity.
For our group purpose there is but one ultimate authority–a loving God as He may express Himself in our group conscience. Our leaders are but trusted servants; they do not govern.
The final responsibility and authority rests with the NA groups.
We admitted we were powerless over our addiction, that our lives were unmanageable.
Our common welfare should come first; personal recovery depends on NA unity.
To fulfill our fellowship’s primary purpose, the NA groups have joined together to create a structure which develops, coordinates, and maintains services on behalf of NA as a whole.
